Who determines the specifications of traction batteries?
The dimensions and the minimum weight of the traction battery are determined in most cases by the truck supplier. The voltage and power (amperage) are of course also determined in these specifications in order for the machine to function properly. The capacity of traction batteries is indicated by the maximum 5-hour discharge.
